I'm Featured On Entities-R-Us!

Terri of Entities-R-Us (http://www.entities-r-us.com/) has finally given me my comic debut! What started out as nothing more than a bit of humor has turned into a Guest Draw, which features me (looking quite a bit more sun tanned than I actually am in real life. If you ever see me, you will find that I lack the color that my comical counterpart has!) along with Ghost Hunters' own Steve Gonsalves & Dave Tango! It's quite an honor to be featured on Terri's comic and especially humbling to be featured along with two Ghost Hunters stars. Make sure that you check out the comic and if you have time, visit the archives, I promise that they will make you smile & snort. A big thank you to Terri!

Brian Harnois in the Lone Star State, Possible New TV Show?

Former TAPS investigator Brian Harnois will be a featured guest speaker this weekend at the Texas Ghost Show, along with other notable members for the paranormal field. Since leaving Ghost Hunters, Brian has started his own paranormal group and makes his living doing lectures, attending conventions, and scheduling personal appearances. He does not charge for his ghost hunting team's investigations. The article does briefly mention that Harnois may be returning to TV since he "also in negotiation with producers to create a new show on paranormal investigations".

Harnois is now is a full-time ghost hunter. Since a client is never charged for an investigation, Harnois makes his living doing lectures, conventions and personal appearances. “It pays the bills. I do about two a month,” he said. It gives him more time to spend in his Warwick, R.I., home with wife Michelle and daughters Mackenzie, 3 and Kylie, 7 months.

Harnois is also in negotiation with producers to create a new show on paranormal investigations and may once again be on TV soon.

This is not Harnois’ first trip to Texas; but his in the Golden Triangle. He has participated in investigations both in Corpus Christi and at the York Town hospital, “It’s pretty creepy in there.”

Did Ghost Hunters Change the Ghost Hunting World?

A new post on the Autumn Forest Ghost Hunter blog explores the effect that Ghost Hunters has had on the paranormal community and predicts what may happen when the show is finished.

Prior to Ghost Hunters or BGH (“before Ghost Hunters”), ghost hunting was something people giggled about as frivolous and born of the spiritualists movement involving hoaxes such as ectoplasm, Ouija boards, and (dare we say) séances. People who believed in ghosts were in with the ranks of UFO witnesses and Bigfoot peepers; all of them taken as overzealous nerd fantasies.

But, after Ghost Hunters (AGH), Americans who had believed in ghosts and would not readily admit such a predisposition, were now turning to their friends and admitting their “affliction.” I had been hunting a few years before the show came to be, but when I heard a show about ghost hunters was going to be on national TV, I thought “times are changing! I might finally come out of the closet.”
